Infosan, a private pediatric ophthalmology hospital in Romania, started the construction works for a new clinic in Bucharest, thus consolidating its presence on the market of specialized medical services. With an investment of 2 million euros from its own funds, the new clinic is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2025. At full capacity, it will be able to serve up to 200 patients daily, offering ophthalmology services for children and adults.
„The decision to expand our services in a new clinic in the Iancului – Vatra Luminoasa area is part of the organic development strategy of the Infosan network. We allocated 2 million euros to ensure we offer patients in Bucharest access to advanced medical technologies and top ophthalmological services. We invest not only in equipment that provides a correct diagnosis and quality treatment but also in spaces dedicated to the comfort and safety of our patients. We are confident that this clinic will significantly contribute to increasing the quality of medical services in the Capital and will be able to respond to the growing number of patients with vision problems”, stated Călin Ciubotaru, cofounder and doctor at Infosan.
The new facility will include 20 consultation and treatment rooms, as well as specialised optics services for both children and adults. The opening of the clinic will be done in three stages. In the first phase, 5 cabinets and optics will be opened, with other facilities to be added successively until the project is completed. The clinic will be equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and will offer diagnostic and treatment services for a wide range of eye conditions, including the control and treatment of vision problems in children, as well as complex treatments for adults.
Infosan Hospital, founded in 2002, is one of the most important ophthalmological medical centres in Bucharest, with a mono-specialty hospital treatment capacity of 3000 patients per month in outpatients and 300 patients per month in day hospitalisation.
