In 2014, iQuest, the global IT services and solutions provider, reached a turnover of EUR 26,08 million, with an increase of 7 percent compared to the previous year and added 15 new clients to its portfolio. According to a press release, the customer segment with the highest turnover of 69 percent was in the field of Technology, followed by Life Sciences, with an increase of 18 percent, and Telecom with 14 percent.
Currently, iQuest currently has over 600 employees, the largest team being in Cluj-Napoca, where approximately 380 people work. The other teams in Brasov, with over 130 employees, Sibiu and Craiova are also growing as the business develops.
iQuest officials wish to increase its team of specialists until the end of the year and move into a new office building in Cluj-Napoca with a surface of over 6.000 sqm in the city centre.
Last year, the company specialized in customized software solutions and services development entered new markets in Eastern Europe – Poland, Ukraine, and Russia – and also opened a new office in Warsaw to support its expansion strategy. For this year, the expansion plans of the business also include discussions with potential clients from Asia.
According to iQuest, locally, the most sought IT solutions in 2014 were Cloud, Mobile and e-commerce, while globally the most popular solutions were Big Data and Analytics, Internet of Things/Machine-to-Machine, Cloud and multi-channel-commerce.

In the context of the geographic expansion and the level of business complexity, iQuest considered it appropriate to add a touch of managerial experience and give decision-making power to the existing Board, which as of January 1, validates the long-term strategy proposed by the executive team.
Thus, Cornelius Brody, founder of iQuest takes on the role as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, also joined by Octav Chicina?, Richard Roy and Sebastian Muller. The new CEO of iQuest is Jürgen Samuel, former executive manager at several multinational companies in the technology area, such as Sicap AG, Siemens IT Services, Oracle Germany or Sony Germany.
