JW Marriott in Bucharest was doubly awarded at the Romanian Top Hotel Awards gala, the excellence awards in the hotel and tourism industry in Romania. It was awarded the Hotel of the Year title, at the international five-star hotel category, as well as the Location of the Year for conferences and business meetings.
“I wouldn’t have expected a more motivating start as General Manager…I felt proud and honored that, in the name of JW Marriott team, I received these two important distinctions, the more the ranking is reflecting both the general public’ recognition and the one of the tourism experts. Our hotel displays a wide area destined to events and I am pleased to learn the results are as good and that we received this confirmation of our professionalism and brand,“ Fadlallah Zayat told a press release. He took over the general manager position early last month.
The winners of the four categories- tourism, recreation, hotels and best digital development were selected following an online voting process due on April 6-26. The 12 finalists were juried by 20 top experts in hotel and tourism industry.
