Kaufland Romania launches fast delivery service at home following partnership with Glovo

As of this month, everyone who does not have time to go shopping can have the option of ordering their favorite products from Kaufland Romania stores, using Glovo app, through Glovo brings Kaufland to your home service.

Customers will receive food or non-food products from the shopping list at home or at the office, exclusively from Kaufland Romania hypermarkets.

This is the first partnership launched by Kaufland to facilitate customers’ access to shopping using Glovo app. The fast delivery service is currently available only in Bucharest, and by the end of this year the launch will be analyzed in other cities of the country.

Thus, Glovo couriers provide deliveries throughout the Capital, being served by five Kaufland stores in Bucharest: Barbu Văcărescu, Mihai Bravu, Apărătorii Patriei, Tudor Vladimirescu and Basarab.

The assortment currently available comprises over 1300 articles in the categories:

• Vegetables and fruits
• Meat, sausages and frozen products;
• Dairy, cheese and eggs;
• Coffee, bread and breakfast products;
• Staple products;
• Sweets and snacks;
• Drinks;
• Cosmetics, personal hygiene products and children’s products;
• Non-food products and cleaning products;
• Animal food.

Glovo is the application that delivers everything, anywhere, using a large fleet of couriers with sustainable means of transport, such as bicycles and scooters, in order to contribute to the decongestion of traffic and to provide an eco-friendly delivery option. The maximum limit of purchases that can be carried at this time by Glovo couriers is 9 kilograms per delivery.

Glovo service is available online at glovoapp.com/en and the mobile app can be downloaded for free from AppStore or GooglePlay. Currently, Glovo makes deliveries in Bucharest, Constanța, Iași, Cluj, Brașov, Timișoara and Craiova.
