Banca Comercială Română (BCR) is bringing a business masterclass to Romania, hosted by Ken Morse, Founding Managing Director of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, serial entrepreneur, and former advisor on innovation and entrepreneurship to President Barack Obama. On February 5-6, Ken Morse will hold an event at Hotel Privo in Târgu Mureș, focused on global sales strategies for entrepreneurial companies in Romania. The number of participants is limited to 60.

Ken Morse has significantly impacted global entrepreneurship, mentoring thousands of entrepreneurs and co-founding six high-tech companies, including 3Com Corporation (acquired by HP) and Aspen Technology Inc. Five of these ventures achieved successful IPOs or mergers. As the Founding Managing Director of the MIT Entrepreneurship Center (1996–2009), he advanced innovation globally. He served as an advisor to President Obama on the National Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NACIE), contributing to key initiatives like “Startup America” and the “JOBS Act.” At AspenTech Europe, he led a team that achieved 18 consecutive quarters of sales growth, expanded the workforce tenfold, and boosted revenues by 600%-900%.

Sales is a SCIENCE, not an ART. The Sales Process can be learned, even by shy technical persons. In Romania, young companies and established firms need more and better customers. They must go outside their home market to survive and thrive. This Masterclass will help Romanian companies to shorten their sales cycle and reduce uncertainty in their sales pipeline. BCR is definitely the right partner for this initiative”, said Ken Morse, masterclass instructor.

“BCR is a well-known co-organizer and main partner for Romania’s business events. Therefore, we are delighted to start the year with an exclusive masterclass led by Ken Morse—an essential guide for ambitious entrepreneurs and businesses throughout Romania seeking to transform their businesses through trust-based, long-term relationships and sustainable financial results. In business, competitive advantage comes from the courage to engage in lifelong learning, continuous reinvention, and adaptation to changing markets and customer needs. BCR invests in Romanian entrepreneurs, helping them to plan strategically, anticipate trends, and prepare their businesses for success, both locally and internationally,” said Ionuț Stanimir, Director of Marketing and Communication BCR.

Alumni of the masterclass and now successful entrepreneurs

“When I first attended Ken’s Global Sales Strategies workshop in Bucharest, we had about 100 employees, doing a modest amount of lower margin IT services in the US. Inspired by the learnings from Ken’s teachings, we changed our business model and moved up the value chain. Now we have 250 team members with more than $10 million in revenues from delivering Business IT Support, Consultancy, and Digital Transformation solutions to well known clients across America. Ken has remained a friend of mine, and our company through all the years”, added  Bogdan Tudor, Serial Entrepreneur and Founder & CIO, Optimum Desk, NY, USA.

“I first attended the global sales class by Ken Morse in 2011, and it was a transformative experience that fundamentally reshaped my understanding of business and sales strategy. Learning directly from a global sales veteran and serial entrepreneur gave me tools and insights that continue to influence my approach to building long-term, trust-based partnerships with our customers,” said Marius Mocian, Business Growth Advisor, RebelDot, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Attending the Global Sales Strategy class was the best investment I have ever made. I not only helped us to position our business in a clear and organized way, it also enabled us to build international companies, open divisions in multiple countries, and attract strategic investors. It is a unique opportunity to have Ken Morse in Romania. I highly recommend this masterclass to any ambitious company in Romania,” declared Călin Ștefănescu, serial entrepreneur and CEO & Co-Founder at Dora, the Recruitment Robot by Happy Recruiter,Târgu Mureș, Romania.
