KLM Bucharest–Amsterdam route available as of June 17
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced it will gradually resume flights this month, also adding new routes. KLM has operated 5-10% of the flights in the peak period of the pandemic and it plans to reach 30% of the flights by the end of July 2020. Bucharest-Amsterdam route is also included in the stage of flight expansion, with the first flight scheduled on June 17.
The flights will be operated on a daily basis as of Jun 17, under extended hygiene conditions during the check-in, departure, during flight and on landing.
However, all flights scheduled during the summer season may undergo changes depending on the authorities’ decisions, on the needs of the passengers in Romania and on the cabin factor, KLM informs in a press release.
Protection face masks are mandatory during all flights operated by KLM both for the passengers and for the cabin crew. Other prevention measures include cleaning and disinfection procedures of the aircraft and social distancing will be enforced on the flights with a low cabin factor.
