The selection process has concluded for Romania’s first-ever accelerator dedicated to health and life sciences: LevelUP Health & Life Sciences Accelerator. Organized by the INNO Platform and Intelligent Specialization departments of the North-West Regional Development Agency, in collaboration with EIT Health, this accelerator marks a significant milestone in fostering innovation and entrepreneurial growth.
We are thrilled to announce that LevelUP Accelerator has garnered interest from entrepreneurs at both the regional and national levels, resulting in an impressive lineup of start-ups spanning telemedicine, dentistry, medical devices, dietary supplements, wellness, emotional health, nutrition, and beyond. Students gain access to a vast library of scientifically vetted study materials and research papers, with features like conversational interactions, spaced repetition, and deadline notifications.
– Offers a plant-based alternative to fish meat, aiming to position itself as a leader in sustainable food production and contribute to a more sustainable and ethical food system.
– Strives to offer a chance to early behavioral therapy for every child with ASD. Their app will provide instant detection and feedback on ASD behavioral progress, access to behavioral analysts and ABA therapists and create personalized intervention plans passed on analyzed biomarkers.
– Is the largest online medical education platform in Romania, designed to provide access to educational materials and specialized courses for students, residents, and doctors. Additionally, Eduson offers a variety of assessment and certification tools that allow users to test their knowledge and track their progress over time.
– Develops a web platform for oncology patients, cancer survivors, and their families, with the aim of providing them with the necessary psychological tools in an online format, away from the environment that can sometimes induce secondary anxiety (clinics and hospitals where they receive treatments).
– Recently, there has been a significant growth in the number of uncoordinated healthtech applications, leading doctors to abandon their use. HealthAppStore will be an online platform that integrates these applications specifically designed for healthcare professionals, centralizing information in a useful and efficient manner.
– Harnessing the incredible potential of the hemp plant in human medicine, backed by extensive research on the effectiveness of cannabinoids in treating diverse conditions, HempAID stands as a trailblazer in Europe, championing natural alternative therapies derived from hemp extract. Their mission is to produce the highest quality CBD-based products.
– They provide personalized solutions through online nutrition courses, tailored for various health conditions. From diabetes and digestive issues to pregnancy and sports performance, they focus on the specific needs of each condition or target audience, offering relevant information and adapting the courses to achieve individual objectives.
– They aim to become a leading global provider of customized medical implants. Their cutting-edge 3D printing technology will revolutionize the industry, providing patients with better, safer solutions for their healthcare needs.
– Aims to be the leading online platform for scheduling appointments for medical clinics and services, simple and accessible to everyone, regardless of age or users’ technological knowledge.
