Luxoft Romania posts an increase of over 50 pc in turnover in 2015

Luxoft Romania, one of the top providers of software development services and innovative IT solutions to global customers, registered a turnover of RON 222.3 million in 2015, up by 56 percent compared with the previous year, a press release informs.

Over 40 percent of the companies’ revenues were generated by the telecom projects, a business segment traditionally developed by Luxoft Romania. The rest of the revenues come from the collaboration with clients in financial and automotive domains, where Luxoft has a vast experience.

Last year, about 94 percent of the business was generated by European market and the rest by US.

“The Luxoft Romania projects registered a sustained development also in 2015, which means a consolidation of our position on the local IT services market. We will continue to support the present projects and to deliver quality to customers, in parallel with the attraction of new projects. Last year, telecom division was the business line with the highest impact as regards Luxoft delivery center in Romania. Also, last year was marked by the expansion of the customer portfolio in this sector with new global companies.

Last year, Luxoft has increased its staff by 40 percent compared to 2014 after the company employed 500 IT specialists. Currently, the company exceeded the threshold of 1,700 employees and the recruitment process will continue in 2016 too.

Affairs offices within different embassies in Romania or officials of large companies investing on the domestic market.
After almost 15 years of journalism, I still want to explore new ways, to inform and stay updated. That’s why The Romania Journal project fits me so well.
Today I describe myself as a passionate about the history of world culture, having a PhD in Hebrew Culture and Civilization, after a scholarship at the University of Haifa International School, as a language addict, an environmental activist, pet lover and traveler.
