McCann Erickson Romania creativity brings it 4 Bronze Lions at Cannes Ad Festival

The advertising campaigns Sunday Grannies and Ghita, the Social Shepard, both representing Vodafone Romania services, brought to McCann Erickson Romania ad agency four Bronze Lions in Cannes.

With these new Lions, the total number of the awards collected by McCann Bucharest at Cannes Lions reaches to 21 in five consecutive years.

Ghita The Social Shepard – for Vodafone Romania – won a Bronze in Creative Effectiveness competition, which is a first for Romania. On the other hand, Sunday Grannies – for the same client – took 2 Bronze in Promo & Activations and 1 Bronze in PR.

With Ghita, we managed to build business efficiency that went beyond the limits of any national and international recognition, until Cannes Effectiveness, becoming this way the most awarded idea in Vodafone group. And we wouldn’t have managed that without a team that lives with max intensity this brand, from vision to detail,” Laura Barbu, Director, Brand & Marketing Communication, Vodafone Romania said.

“This year, we are celebrating the 21st Lion and this is a very big joy, especially as it brings us a first: the first trophy in Creative Effectiveness for Romania. I am proud this year’s trophies are for Vodafone, one of our biggest clients,” Catalin Dobre, Executive Creative Director McCann Bucharest stated in his turn.
