Thus, Medicover has acquired the Iowemed medical network in Constanta county, which includes five medical centers, of which two in Constanta city. According to a press release, the transaction expands the company’s medical network in the region, and there are plans to also expand the team and the range of healthcare services offered locally.
Iowemed offers European-standard healthcare and is among the most popular providers of medical service in the region. Its activities are complementary to Medicover’s, and the transaction now brings together over 21 years of international healthcare excellence and entrepreneurs with an extensive local knowledge, to further promote high medical standards.

Iowemed has over 150 doctors and nurses, providing over 30 medical specialties for individual patients and corporate employees. Iowemed also provides Maritime Medicine services, for those who need specific medical certifications for seafaring activities.
