Medicover Romania has new GM

Medicover Romania has appointed a new general manager, Radu Gorduza Lupu as of November 18, 2019.

Adrian Peake, who has been GM in the past five years, will take over a new position in UK. Peake said it had been a privilege to run the operations of Medicover in Romania.

This is a good period of sustained growth and I’m sure the new leadership team will make the most out of the opportunities the market has to offer”.

In his turn, Jon Stubbington, COO Medicover said the group expects a period of growth under the new GM’s lead: „We thank Adrian for his contribution during the past years. We welcome Radu Gorduza to Medicover and look forward to continue growing the business under his leadership. Radu is an experienced healthcare executive, with a sound understanding of the industry and a strong track-record in setting up and scaling medical operations”.

Medicover reported a 24.6% revenue increase in Romania in the first half of this year, while in Q1 2018, it announced Romania had been one of the group’s fastest growing markets.
