Miele opens its third store in Romania in Constanta

German family-run company Miele, leading manufacturer of premium household appliances worldwide, chose Constanta to open the third store on the local market, a press release informs.

The total investment in the seafront shore amounted to EUR 120,000.

Covering an area of 100 square meters, the new unit is located in the historic center of Constanta and exposes all the Miele product categories available in Romania: from detergents and accessories, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, refrigerators, to large and small appliances (dishwashers, ovens, hobs and hoods), ironing systems and freestanding espressos.

“The store was designed according to the same concept and design as the Miele Point store in Bucharest. The unit in Constanta is part of Miele’s brand consolidation strategy in Romania, and we expect it to generate about 5-7 percent of sales in 2-3 years. We have chosen Constanta metropolitan area because it is one of the largest in Romania, so there is potential and we thought it is also the main tourist destination of Romanians during the summer,” Loredana Butnaru, Director Miele Romania stated.

Currently, Miele products can be found in over 60 stores on the local market.
