Germany’s Miele, leading manufacturer of premium household appliances worldwide, registered sales of EUR 400,000 through its second store in Bucharest – Miele Point Dorobanti, in the first year of inauguration.
Currently, its three own stores, Miele Point and Miele showroom in Bucharest, as well as Miele Point in Constanta, together with the five exclusive franchised units in Sibiu, Targu Mures, Deva, Brasov si Cluj-Napoca, generate 60 percent of the company’s sales nationwide, Loredana Butnaru, General Manager Miele Romania said in a press conference on Tuesday.
The opening of the Miele Point store in Bucharest was part of a long-term business plan that the company first started three years ago with the showroom relocation from Otopeni in Bucharest Press Square (Piata Presei).
In the first year of operation, the highest order in the store amounted to RON 60,000.
