Moon Resorts Attracts Multi-Million Euro Investments, Expands – Up to 100 Premium Cabins in Bușteni and Comarnic
Moon Resorts, the premium tourism concept founded by Romanian entrepreneur Cristian Brînză, has so far attracted six investors and multi-million euro funding to develop its network of modular cabins in Bușteni and Comarnic. In 2024, the company reported a turnover of approximately €2.5 million and aims to reach a portfolio of 100 accommodation units by the end of 2025. With three active locations, 53 completed cabins, and 10 more under construction, Moon Resorts is building at an accelerated pace and seeks to attract new strategic partners to consolidate its leading position in the premium nature-based tourism sector.
Over 60,000 Tourists Enjoyed a Unique Experience at Moon Resorts
With a monthly average exceeding 5,000 visitors and a total of over 60,000 tourists in 2024, Moon Resorts proves the success of an independently developed model, unaffiliated with hotel chains or international operators. A consistently high occupancy rate, a diversified service offering, and investments in a modern, personalized leisure style aligned with global trends have all played a key role in this growth. From premium amenities such as spa, jacuzzi, sauna, or game room, to the fully digitalized check-in and booking management process, every detail is designed to deliver a relaxing, intuitive, and contemporary experience.
“We started with ten cabins and a simple dream: to give people the feeling of arriving at their own mountain holiday home – but without the stress of construction, maintenance, or management. We want to reach 100 units while keeping the same atmosphere of intimacy, comfort, and freedom. Each cabin should feel like it’s yours, even if you rent it for just a weekend, a week, or a day,” said Cristian Brînză, founder of Moon Resorts.
From 10 Cabins to 100 Units in 2025 – All in Harmony With You and Nature
Moon Resorts’ development strategy for 2025 is moving at an ambitious pace. At Moon Valley Comarnic, work will continue with the completion of the Masseria space – dedicated to private and corporate events – as well as the setup of premium amenities: an outdoor cinema, a large infinity pool, a panoramic lounge, an indoor spa with jacuzzi and sauna, as well as fields for football, volleyball, and a children’s playground. The ultimate goal is to reach a total of 100 cabins at this location, transforming Moon Valley into a hub for premium tourism in Romania.
Expansion is also ongoing at other Moon Resorts locations. In Bușteni, the Moon Montana site will see the addition of 15 more accommodation units, while the next development phase at Moon Village includes the construction of 40 new cabins. Meanwhile, in Comarnic, further investment opportunities are being explored, including a new event hall and an additional 15 accommodation spaces.
Moon Resorts differentiates itself in the hospitality market through an approach where technology, nature, and comfort work together to redefine what a mountain holiday can be. From digital check-in that removes all bureaucratic interactions, to smart systems for automated cleaning and efficient resource management, every detail is optimized to offer tourists an intuitive, modern, and stress-free experience. The cabins are located in natural, less-exploited areas with easy access from Bucharest – a strategic choice aimed at transforming lesser-known spots into true relaxation destinations.
For 2025, Moon Resorts is exploring expansion opportunities both near Bucharest and abroad, in accessible regions that can support the same integrated development model – nature, comfort, and technology. The sustainable model behind the company allows for rapid replication of the concept in new areas, without compromising the quality of the experience offered. This flexibility is backed by a clear vision: not just more cabins, but increasingly diverse experiences for tourists – from wellness and relaxation facilities to spaces dedicated to events, gastronomy, or outdoor activities. Moon Resorts aims to become a contemporary alternative to classic tourism, where people don’t just stay somewhere – they reconnect with nature, themselves, and their free time.
