The suspended bridge over the Danube, also known as Braila-Tulcea bridge, will be the biggest contract for an infrastructure project attributed in the last 27 years, worth RON 2.02 billion (about EUR 500 million), Romanian National Company of Road Infrastructure Management (CNAIR) informs.
Once build, the construction will be among the first five bridges in Europe, as central opening (1.120 metres).
CNAIR established the deadline for filing bids as August 11, 2017 at 4 p.m.
The contract will be assigned based on the best quality-price report, and it will last for 114 months: 18 months for the design, 36 months f0r the execution, and the liability period will be minimum 60 months.
The investment project, about 23, 413 long, comprises the design and the execution of the main road Braila-Jijila and the link road with DN 22, Smârdan-Măcin.
