Murali Store, the official importer of Benjamin Moore premium paints in Romania, inaugurated the largest luxury decorative paint showroom in Romania, setting a new standard in interior design on the local market. The investment in the new showroom is over 100,000 euros, being part of the company’s development strategy, as a result of the 30% increase in demand for premium paints in the luxury interior design market in recent years.
Opened at the end of July, the Murali Store showroom, located in the Calea Dorobanti area of Bucharest (Ion Slătineanu Street, no. 14), has an area of almost 200 sqm, being the largest showroom on the luxury paint market in the country. In the Murali Store showroom in Bucharest, you can find the most extensive range of premium paints, 3,500 unique shades, of the American brand Benjamin Moore, the most exclusive paint manufacturer in the world, but also of the Italian brands Cebos and Valpaint.
“The Murali Store showroom in Bucharest is the second showroom we opened, after the one in Timișoara in 2021, being a natural decision, but at the same time strategic for the development of our business, considering the accelerated growth of the market of luxury interiors from Romania. In recent years, we have had a 30% increase in demand for premium paints, a rate that is maintained today, and Bucharest and the south-eastern area of the country needed a reliable supplier that could meet the requirements of personalized consultancy for both our partners, the specialists in architecture and interior design, as well as for the final beneficiaries. There is an increased interest on the part of Romanians for adding luxury and sophistication to home furnishings, not only in Bucharest-Ilfov, but also in counties such as Brașov, Constanța, Iasi, Cluj, and Timișoara, which we satisfy through the solutions offered by our collaborators and our team of consultants from the two showrooms”, says Adriana Dobriceanu, co-founder of Murali Store.
The Murali Store showroom in Bucharest has a team of 4 consultants trained in offering personalized solutions for choosing paint shades and textures and in interior design.
The showroom was inaugurated in the presence of over 100 guests, including representatives of the Benjamin Moore, Cebos, and Valpaint brands, whose products are present in the Murali Store portfolio.
“We prepared the opening of the Murali Store showroom in Bucharest in the most effervescent season, the July-September period being the most preferred period for renovations and interior design. During this period, renovation and painting projects start from 3,000 euros for an apartment and reach 20,000 euros for houses with a footprint of 120 square meters. The best-selling products in our portfolio are Benjamin Moore premium paints, the most exclusive paints in the world, for which demand increased by 25% in the early summer months compared to the winter months. Moreover, the interest in products and solutions for interior design and home decoration is currently at the highest level in recent years, with the luxury market experiencing a new stage of development. All in all, we will see a sharp increase both in our business level and in the market, not only in the summer season but for the whole year 2023”, says Adriana Dobriceanu.
