Naspers passes its eMag shares to Dutch Intervision (Services) Holdings B.V.

South African – based global internet and media company Naspers has decided to transfer its shares held on eMag, the largest online retailer in Romania, to Intervision (Services) Holdings B.V., according to data published in the Official Gazette.

Based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Intervision (Services) B.V. operates as a subsidiary of Forthnet Media Holdings S.A. and is wholly owned by Naspers.

“On November 20, 2015, MIH Allegro BV has sold a total of 773,666 shares, representing 75.2782 percent of the share capital to Intervision (Services) Holdings B.V. Following the above transfer, MIH Allegro BV has ceased to be a shareholder of the company, Intervision (Services) Holdings B.V. becaming the shareholder of the company. (…) Following this cession, the shareholder structure is as follows: Intervision (Services) Holdings B.V. holds 773,666 shares with a nominal value of RON 1 per share and a total nominal value of 773.666 RON, representing 75.2782 percent of the share capital; and Mr. Iulian Gabriel Stanciu holds 254.077 shares with a nominal value of RON 1 per share and a total nominal value of 254.077 RON, representing 24.7218 percent of the share capital,” data published in the Official Gazette show.

Last year, Dante International, the company that operates the online store eMag, recorded a turnover of RON 1,246 billion and a net loss of RON 58.3 million.
