NEPI Rockcastle, the merged entity between the two South-African investment funds – New Europe Property Investments (NEPI) and Rockcastle – completed the office complex located in Victoriei Square in Bucharest following an investment of EUR 37 million, as a press release informs.
The ‘visionary project’ Aviatorilor 8 has a total leasable area of over 7,700 sqm and consists of an avant-garde office building, a little square open to the public and Oromolu Villa recently restored.
General Electric, Fitbit and Philip Morris are among the tenants of the office complex.
“Because our goal is to turn Romania into a key hub for General Electric in Central and Eastern Europe, we plan to employ around 100 top IT specialists the next year, thus completing the existing labor force that currently counts 150 employees. The fact that we operate in the most sophisticated and high-tech office building in the country will be a major asset in our intention to attract the most talented specialists from Romania and the region,” Silviu Cretean, Senior Services Director of GE’s Global Delivery Center in Bucharest, stated.
The location of this project, at the centre of Bucharest, the unique architectural and design solutions, the easy access to multiple transportation routes and means, as well as the multiple relaxation options to spend free time nearby are just some of the top advantages of Aviatorilor 8 project. The numerous parking spaces available in the underground complete the comfort and the easy access of tenants and visitors, NEPI Rockcastle officials note.
NEPI Rockcastle’s Romanian portfolio includes Mega Mall, Promenada Mall, Vulcan Value Center, Shopping City Timisoara, City Park Constanta, Ploiesti Shopping City, Braila Mall, Targu-Jiu Shopping City, Severin Shopping Center, Deva Shopping City and other shopping centers.
NEPI Rockcastle also owns Floreasca Business Park and The LakeView both in Bucharest, City Business Center in Timisoara and The Office in Cluj.
