Cargus, a local courier operator, strengthens its team by adding key professionals who will help grow the business, both on the local and international markets.
Starting January, Oana Mandicescu is the new Chief Sales Officer of Cargus. From this role she coordinates all the sales activities related to Major Accounts, Field Sales and International sales, with the aim to grow Cargus’ business profitably. Oana Mandicescu brings extensive experience and expertise in the courier industry, developed throughout different roles and areas of activity, and a customer-oriented mindset. Before joining Cargus, Oana worked for 25 years with DHL Express Romania, having different leadership roles in Customer Service, Pricing & Product and Sales & Marketing, nationally and regionally. Her knowledge and dedication contributed to constant growth in revenue and market share.
Also starting January, Zoe Dobre joined Cargus as Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO). Zoe Dobre is a creative and result-oriented professional, with 18 years of HR experience. Before joining Cargus, she worked for important companies, such as Coca-Cola HBC Romania, Vodafone, Molson Coors and City Grill Group, and has covered several segments of expertise – from talent & reward strategy, sales compensation, job evaluations, retail transformation, to organizational effectiveness and efficiency, recognition know-how. As Chief People and Culture Officer she will coordinate all human resources activities, help strengthen Cargus’ team and transform the company into one of the most desirable employers in the courier industry.

New roles at the end of 2022
The two additions come after two others professionals joined Cargus’ team at the end of 2022 – new roles created inside the company, as a response to the demands of the next period and its growth objectives: Eirik Hjeltnes as Chief Revenue Officer and Şerban Stoica in the role of Strategy Director.
As Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Eirik Hjeltnes has the responsibility for all pricing and revenue management related processes, procedures, and activities with the aim to drive profitable growth. Before joining Cargus, Eirik spent 30 years with UPS in different capacities and brings a suite of industry knowledge and experience to the company. In his last position he was one of the people responsible for defining and implementing UPS’ European B2C strategy. Eirik also worked as a Country Marketing Director and Pricing & Revenue Management Manager in Germany, UPS’ largest market in Europe.
Şerban Stoica joined Cargus team as Head of Strategy and PMO (Project Management Officer). In this role Serban oversees the initiation, planning and execution of the strategic projects across all functions of the company. Șerban has 15 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Management Consulting and Private Equity. In the last two years, he acted as Group Director Strategy and Transformation at Green Group, one of the largest European recycling groups (part of Abris Capital Partners), and was a member of the Board of Directors in Circular Ventures, the venture capital division of Green Group. Previously, Șerban worked for 5 years at Kearney, Global Management Consulting Firm headquartered in Chicago, advising CEOs and Management Boards at a Global level, delivering strategic projects on site in more than 15 countries around the world, including Singapore, Turkey, the UAE, Germany or China in various industries such as Logistics, Automotive, Telecom and Banking.
