4.2% economic growth in nine months of 2018

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 4.1% as seasonally adjusted series and by 4.3% as gross series in the third quarter this year, against the similar period in 2017, according to the signal figures released on Wednesday by the National Statistics Institute (INS). The European Commission forecast reads that the economic growth will slow down in the coming period, with the GDP increasing by 3.6% this year and by 3.8% in 2019.

The seasonally adjusted series are quarterly reviewed following the changes of models, of number of registers, changes of gross series and the number of available observations, INS also informs.
