The Ministry of Public Finance (MFP) informs that 7,951 investors – natural persons have bought government bonds, in the first five days since the start of the offer, six times more than during the entire subscription period in 2015. The total amount approaches RON 280 million, a MFP press release informed on Monday.
“The Ministry of Finance, in the first five days since the start of the sale of government bonds, managed to attract 7,951 natural persons as investors, six times more than the entire subscription period in 2015. The total amount of subscriptions is approaching RON 280 million, almost three times more than the amount originally announced. Until now, the minimum amount subscribed was of RON 100 and the maximum of RON 100,000. The daily average subscription last week was of RON 55.3 million and of 1,590 investors,” reads the release.
