The aluminium producer Alro reports an adjusted net profit of RON 94 million in the first nine months of 2016, by RON 51 million less than the adjusted net profit recorded during the same period of 2015. In the period under review, the company’s turnover was of RON 1.58 billion against RON 1.77 billion in Q1-Q3 2015, capital.ro informs.
Alro sold increased quantities by 4%, mainly due to higher sales of bars (up by 15,000 tons during the same period of 2015). However, the cost of goods sold decreased by RON 74 million, from RON 1.45 billion in the first nine months of 2015 to RON 1.38 billion in Q1-Q3 2016. The primary aluminium production of the company was of 205,400 tons, as compared to 203,100 tons in the first nine months of 2015, and the processed aluminium production was of 57,500 tons, down from 59,800 tons in Q1-Q3 2015.
