Average download speed for fixed internet was of 112.1Mbps in 2017

The tests conducted by netograf.ro reveal that in 2017 the average download and upload speeds for fixed internet increased by 18% against 2016.

The statistics on fixed and mobile internet services quality in Romania, on the basis of the tests conducted by netograf.ro – the ANCOM application for quality tests – in 2017 Romanians had average download speeds of 112.1Mbps on fixed points (186.6Mbps on wire connections and 61.26Mbps on wireless connections) and 20.44Mbps for access on internet on mobile points. The upload average speed for such points was of 9.08Mbps.
