BNR to quote the Croatian kuna starting today


Starting Friday, August 21, the National Bank of Romania (BNR) will add to its exchange rate table the indicative quote for the Romanian leu versus the Croatian kuna (HRK), a press release informs.

By Friday, the exchange rates list contained quotations for 28 currencies plus gold quotations and STD.

According to the National Institute of Statistics (INS), in the first four months of this year the total volume of trade between Romania and the Republic of Croatia reached EUR 91.2 million. Exports totaled EUR 54.3 million and imports – EUR 36.9 million. It was recorded a trade surplus of EUR 17.4 million in Romania’s favor.
