BVB – No transactions on Good Friday and during Orthodox Easter

The Romanian capital market will be closed on April 6, on Good Friday, and April 9, on Orthodox Easter, according to information posted on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) website.

The value of share transactions in the main segment of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) increased by 28.5% in Q1 this year, as compared to the same period in 2017, to over RON 3.51 billion.

In March, Banca Transilvania ranked first among the most traded companies, with over RON 219.4 million, followed by Fondul Proprietatea with RON 145.4 million and Romgaz, with over RON 119.3 million. The fourth and fifth positions are occupied by BRD and SIF5 Oltenia, with RON 114.7 million and RON 77.1 million, respectively.
