The National Company for the Administration Road Infrastructure (CNAIR) has signed on Tuesday the design and execution contract for the Comarnic belt amounting to more than RON 17 million, VAT excluded, a press release informs.
The contract was concluded with the Association of Next Level Europe SRL – Eurostrade SRL – Groma Societa di Ingegneria – a company with limited liability.
The bypass belt will have a length of 2.850 kilometres.
The contract is worth about RON 17.044 million (approx. EUR 3.7 million), VAT excluded, and has duration of 31 months (three months design period, four months execution period and 24 months as period to notify the defects).
“Taking into account the fact that on National Road 1 (DN 1), the sector connecting Bucharest to Braşov, the intensity of traffic is increasing, CNAIR SA has started the realization of the bypass of Comarnic necessary to increase the traffic capacity on the Prahova Valley section,” the CNAIR officials say in the press release.
