The Competition Council has authorized the transaction through which Yusen Logistics Europe will take over Keswick European Holdings Limited and Tibbett Logistics SRL, a press release issued on Friday informs.
Yusen Logistics Europe B.V. is part of the Yusen Logistics Group, which is a global logistics provider covering all transport modes. The main services provided are international freight forwarding (by air or water), contractual logistics and transportation. Keswick European Holdings Limited is dealing with investments outside the United Kingdom.
Tibbett Logistics is an independent logistics provider in Romania, providing logistics services to manufacturers and traders in the automotive, textile, DIY, food, beverage and FMCG industries. Tibbett Logistics also provides supply chain management, contractual logistics, warehousing, etc.
The Competition Council’s analysis has led to the conclusion that the economic concentration does not raise significant obstacles to effective competition on the Romanian market or on a substantial part of it, especially by creating or strengthening a dominant position, the communiqué reads.
The Competition Council’s decision will be published on the institution’s website after the confidential information is deleted.
