The current absorption rate of European funds for the 2007-2013 interval has increased in November as compared to October by 1.75 percentage points, up to 81.73%, the Ministry for European Funds (MFE) informs, according to antena3.ro.
Hence, the current absorption rate, the expenditures statements sent to the European Commission, has reached EUR 15.75 billion.
The effective absorption rate has increased by 0.54 percentage points to EUR 14.8 billion.
The Sectoral Operational Programme Increase of Economic Competitiveness – the current absorption rate was of 105.47%, the Operational Programme Technical Assistance – 113.42% (includes the top-up required by the EC), the Sectoral Operational Programme Environment – 78.55%, the Regional Operational Programme – 85.04%, the Sectoral Operational Programme Human Resources Development – 67.54%, the Sectoral Operational Programme Transport – 77.31% and the Operational Programme Development of Administrative Capacity – 98.66%.
