Over 1,000 wine brands from approximately 100 local and foreign producers and importers will be available to visitors at the twelfth edition of GoodWine International Wine Fair opened on Friday at Romexpo.
According to organizers, more than 100 of these wines will be launched at the fair. Among the exhibitors there are: Cotnari Wine House, Jidvei, Vincon Vrancea, S.E.R.V.E. Ceptura, Oprisor Wine Cellar, Budureasca, Senator Wine and Halewood Wineries.
As a premiere, the Republic of Moldova is having a large stall at Goodwin Fair, said Andrei Iva, CEO of ProActive Business Communication, the organizer of GoodWine. The following wineries are presented under the “Wine of Moldova” umbrella: Purcari, Cricova, API Orhei, Bostavan, Castel Mimi, Cimislia Wineries, Chateau Vartely, Etcetera, F’autor, Gitana Winery, Milestii Mici, Poiana Winery, The Winery from the Valley (Vinaria din Vale) and Suvorov Vin. Producers from Republic of Moldova will hold fair related events, which will include a press conference and two master classes.
Among the premieres of the 12th edition of GoodWine there is also Vinc de langa Segarcea producer, a family winery, a project started with 18,4 hectares of noble grape vines planted on the old site of Dranic village.
The most titled sommelier in Romania, Marinela Vasilica Ardelean, will launch the book titled “50 Romanian wines meet 50 Italian dishes”.
The program is as follows: Friday, December 5, from 12 pm to 6 pm; Saturday, December 6, from 10 am to 7 pm; Sunday, December 7, from 10 am to 5 pm. Ticket price is RON 20.
