The website of the National Road Infrastructure Management Company (CNAIR) – www.cnadnr.ro – was under cyber attack Monday morning, thus many of its features are blocked when accessing from the outside. The vignettes, for example, can be paid, but its validity cannot be confirmed.

“We, from the inside, can access the website, but I understand that some features cannot be accessed from the outside. The website is managed by the Special Telecommunications Service (STS), we are also working to remedy the situation, but we do not know how long the malfunction will last,” CNAIR spokesman Alin Şerbănescu said.

“The IT specialists have assured us that the personal data and other information have not been lost as a result of this attack, and some features – such as the vignette payment – are out of order,” Alin Şerbănescu said.

The CNAIR IT service has delivered an internal e-mail to the employees, informing that “following a cyber-attack, the company’s website, www.cnadnr.ro has been compromised. Being hosted by STS, the decision to temporary suspend the website has been made, up until a report is drawn on the vulnerabilities and damages. STS will announce us when the website will be again available online.”
