The total monthly average income per household was of RON 3,250 and the expenditures amounted to RON 2,761per month in the first quarter of this year, the National Statistics Institute (INS) informed on Thursday.
The overall monthly average income in Q1 2017, in nominal terms, was of RON 3,250 per household and of RON 1,233 per person. The overall expenditures of the population in Q1 2017 were on average of RON 2,761 per household per month (RON 1,048 per person) and accounted for 85,0% of the total income.
According to the INS, the cash revenues amounted, on average, to RON 2,849 per month per household (RON 1,081 per person), and the in-kind income of RON 401 a month per household (RON 152 per person). Wages and other associated earnings represented the most important source of income (59.7% of total household income).
