The net consumer price in September was of RON 1,833, up by 1.1% or RON 20, against August, the highest level being recorded in the extraction of crude oil and natural gas (RON 5,895) and the lowest levels in hotels and restaurants (RON 1,075), according to data released on Friday by the National Statistics Institute (INS), reports.
In relation to the consumer price developments, the real earning index was 100.8% in September 2015 against the previous month. Compared to October 1990, real earning index was 139.2%, by 1.1 percentage points higher than the level registered in the month of August 2015.
The gross nominal average earnings amounted to RON 2,541 in September, by 1% higher than in August 2015.
As compared to September 2014, the net nominal average earnings increased by 8% and real earnings index over the same period of the previous year was of 109.9%.
