Retail trade turnover up by 7.2% in five months
The volume of retail trade turnover, except for trade with vehicles and motorcycles, grew in the first five months of 2019 against January 1-May 31, 2018, as gross series and adjusted series by number of working days and seasonality by 7.2% and respectively by 7.1%, the National Statistics Institute (INS) informs on Thursday.
The non-food goods trade has increased by 10.1%, the trade with fuels by specialized shops by 6.6% and trade with foodstuff, drinks and tobacco by 4.7%.
INS informs that the volume of the retail turnover, as gross series, grew in May 2019, against the previous month, by 0.7%.
