Romania exported apparel and accessories of over EUR 890 M at end-April

The exports of clothing and accessories totaled in the first four months of this year EUR 891.6 million, up by 0.5 percent than the same period last year, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS) data.

On the same time, the imports amounted to EUR 343.2 million, 12.8 percent more than in the first four months in 2014.
The highest exports and imports were made in March, EUR 235.8 million and EUR 98.7 million, respectively.

136,100 persons were working at the end of April in the garments manufacturing sector. Net average earning was RON 1,146 per month.
