RON falls against EUR, USD, Swiss franc
The National Bank of Romania (BNR) has announced on Tuesday a reference exchange rate of RON 4.7627 per EUR, higher by 0.04% against Monday. It confirms the slow depreciation of the national currency against the European single currency.
The Sterling Pound has reached the lowest level of the past three months, with the Swiss franc climbing to the highest level of the past seven weeks.
Thus the GBP is RON 5.4233 on Tuesday against RON 5.4399 a day before. It is the lowest level since February 18, 2019 (RON 5.4095).
The national currency has depreciated against the Swiss franc, down to RON 4.2298 per CHF against RON 4.2267 on Monday.
The US Dollar has been traded for RON 4.2726, exchange rate up against RON 4.2653 on Monday.
The gram of gold is RON 175.2584 on Tuesday, up against RON 174.7624 in the previous session.
