The official exchange rate posted by the National Bank of Romania (BNR) of the national currency on Tuesday is RON 4.6603 for one EUR, revealing 0.05% depreciation against Monday and the highest level of the exchange rate in the past six weeks, after the third day of growth.
Most recently, on August 13, the exchange rate vs. the EUR had reached the level of RON 4.6607, the same level as on July 11.
The RON/USD exchange rate has increased by 0.1% on Tuesday as compared to Monday to RON 3.9613, while the gram of gold was quoted at RON 152.8355, up from RON 152.4712 on Monday.
On the other hand, the exchange rate for the Swiss franc recorded on Tuesday the second day of decline, to RON 4.0997, down from RON 4.1276 on Monday.
