Ryanair will operate a daily flight between Bucharest and Timisoara, following that as of November 1 the frequency of flights is to be doubled.

As of September 1, 2016, the largest European low-cost airline, Ryanair, will operate the domestic route Timisoara – Bucharest and return on a daily basis, according to information provided by the airline for Digi24.ro. “As a result of increased demand coming from Romanian consumers, starting November 1 the operating frequency will be increased to two daily flights,” said Denis Barabas, Ryanair’s responsible for Sales and Marketing for Central and Eastern Europe.

For Timisoara – Bucharest flights, Romanian consumers will benefit from prices starting at EUR 7.99 (standard tariff allowing two hand luggage on board), EUR 59.99 (‘Leisure Plus’ tariff – with extra benefits as seat selection, 20kg baggage, priority for boarding) and EUR 143.99 (‘Business Plus’ tariff – with extra benefits like priority boarding, check-in at the airport, fast track, ticket flexibility, confirmation by SMS).

Ryanair expects this year to transport 75,000 customers, following that in 2017 to carry more than 225,000 consumers. Ryanair operates Boeing 737-800 NG (Next Generation) aircraft with a capacity of around 160 passengers.
