Seasonally adjusted unemployment rate falls to 3.9% in November 2018

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was of 3.9% in November 2018, down by 0.1 percentage points against the previous month (4%), the National Statistics Institute (INS) informs on Wednesday.

By gender, the unemployment rate was higher by 1.3% for men than for women – 4.4% for men and 3.1% for women.

The number of unemployed aged 15-74 in November 2018 was of 358,000 persons, down against the previous month (370,000) as well as against the same month last year (427,000).

The number of unemployed aged 25-74 years old represented 71.3% of the overall number of unemployed estimated for November 2018.
