The average net wage up in October by RON 16 to RON 2,392
The net average wage earnings rose in October by RON 16 (+0.7%) to RON 2,392 against the previous month, while the gross nominal average wage increased by 0.7% and reached RON 3,327, according to data from the National Statistics Institute (INS), published on Monday.
In this context, the highest net nominal average earning was recorded in information technology services (including IT services), namely RON 6,054, while the lowest in hotels and restaurants (RON 1,415).
In the budgetary sector there were increases in net average wage earnings as compared to the previous month in education (+4.4%), in public administration (+0.9% ), respectively in health and social care (+0.6%).
INS figures shows that, as compared to October the previous year, the net nominal average wage earnings have increased by 13.5% and the real wage earnings index was 110.6%.
