Low-cost air operator Wizz Air will introduce, as of next summer, six new flights from Iasi (north-eastern Romania) to Eindhoven (Netherlands), Billund (Denmark), Dortmund (Germany), Malmo (Sweden), Thessaloniki (Greece) and Paris (France).
According to a release on Friday by the Iasi Airport, Wizz Air has announced its intention to extend operations and will have one more plane at Iasi base, an Airbus A320, as of April 2018.
The new flights are included in the company’s summer schedule for 2018.
All the six routes will have, at the beginning, two or three flights per week and the ticket price starts at RON 99.
The frequency for the flights to Milan (Bergamo), Tel Aviv and Rome (Fiumicino) will be increased.
Currently, Wizz Air has flights at Iasi Airport to London, Milan, Venice, Rome, Catania, Bologna, Larnaca and Tel Aviv.
