OMV Petrom and Turkish Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS) signed an agreement by which the Romanian company will import 4 billion cubic meters of gas per day from Turkey, between October 1, 2023 and March 31, 2025.

The volume of gas brought from Turkey would be equivalent to almost 10% of Romania’s domestic consumption on a normal winter day (50 million cubic meters.)

The agreement also includes the development of cooperation in the gas trading sector, as well as in the production, transport and storage of green energy, according to a press release from BOTAS, quoted by Reuters. This is the latest in a series of similar agreements between Turkey and neighboring countries. In previous months, BOTAS has entered into partnerships with Greece, Bulgaria and Hungary.

We all know that Turkey is not a Gas producer! This is a joke. So where does Turkey get this gas from? What is on the roof tops and says miaow miaow? A dog learning foreign languages? Of course not. IT IS RUSSIAN GAS.
