Orange is testing with the users in Romania ‘Orange Smart Home’, a simple solution by which the house can be monitored and controlled remotely via mobile phone.
France Télécom’s subsidiary is the first mobile operator in Romania entering the smart home market, in line with its ambition of connecting people to what is the most important for them, a press release informs.
Thus, the dilemmas like “Do I pulled out the iron from the socket?” or “Have I locked the door?” and not only, can be solved now more easily.
Orange Smart Home solution includes six types of sensors – smoke sensor, motion sensor, flood sensor, sensor door / window, smart socket and Wi-Fi room – connected to a central device. All these devices are wireless and easy to install.
Dwelling’s monitoring and controlling remotely are possible by phone or tablet, through the Orange Smart Home app, or by PC via the online platform.
Since this is an innovative proposal on the mobile market, Orange opens a test session with 50 users until November 15.
