Orange Romania total revenues in 2016, up by 4.2 pc

Orange Romania turnover grew last year by 4.2 percent, to EUR 987 million, while the number of customers reached 10.388 million, according to data announced on Thursday by the telecom operator.

In the year when Orange entered the fixed services market, the number of subscribers to company’s offers, exceeded for the first time the 5 million threshold, but the total customer base of mobile services fell by 100,000 from the end of 2015, to 10.077 million, French group financial report reads.

At the same time, 4G customer base doubled in 2016 and reached 2.2 million users, and 4G data traffic has increased fourfold.

In Q4, Orange Romania turnover reached EUR 260 million, up 4 percent compared to the corresponding period last year. It was the seventh consecutive quarter of growth for Orange.

Not least, Orange Home TV, cable and satellite television service, reached 333,000 customers at end-2016, up 20.9 percent year-on-year.

Affairs offices within different embassies in Romania or officials of large companies investing on the domestic market.
After almost 15 years of journalism, I still want to explore new ways, to inform and stay updated. That’s why The Romania Journal project fits me so well.
Today I describe myself as a passionate about the history of world culture, having a PhD in Hebrew Culture and Civilization, after a scholarship at the University of Haifa International School, as a language addict, an environmental activist, pet lover and traveler.
