OSF Digital, a provider of digital transformation services to companies worldwide, has released its plans to hire 150 people in Romania and train over 300 students through the OSF Academy in 2023. The training is planned for specialties such as Salesforce Developer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator and Developer, and QA Tester. The training aims to prepare students and people looking for professional change for a career at OSF Digital and in the digital industry.

The OSF Academy is a unique training program for people seeking entry into programming. The program is free for participants; the admission is based on technical and English knowledge. In 2022, OSF trained more than 200 people in Romania as Front-end or Back-end developers and QA Testers.  OSF Digital currently has 470 employees in Romania, which continues to grow.

OSF Digital is proud to support education through different global programs,” said Gerard (Gerry) Szatvanyi, CEO of OSF Digital. “We are committed to best preparing students for the future of work at OSF Digital and for the Salesforce job market.”

“We are pleased to announce our ambitious plans for the job market and education in Romania for 2023,” said Alin Dorobantu, Chief Operations Officer at OSF Digital. “We continue to grow our presence in Romania and connect people to the jobs of today and support the digital industry.”

OSF Digital’s commitment to education includes seminars, courses, and training through three global programs: OSF Academy, the OSF Digital Scholarship Program, and the partnership with the faculties in the digital field.

Partnership with Alexandru Ioan Cuza University

In the last two years, one unique partnership has been between OSF and the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, specialization in Economic Informatics, through a collaboration program that covers the entire academic year. Through this collaboration, three clubs are organized for 3rd-year students specializing in Economic Informatics: Salesforce Commerce Cloud Merchandising, Salesforce CRM, and Front-End Web Development Course.

In addition to this educational program, OSF Digital donated 40,000 euros to the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, specializing in Economic Informatics. The sponsorship has covered the renovation of one laboratory, including furniture and IT equipment. This will be the development ground for the students, with excellent study and work conditions.

As part of the OSF Foundation, OSF Digital created a scholarship program to help children from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds receive a high-quality education. OSF identifies stellar students and offers them scholarships to give them a chance at a better future and to reach their full potential. In 2022, OSF has offered scholarships to 30 students through this program.

In Romania, OSF Digital has been present through local offices since its establishment in 2003. OSF has offices in Bucharest, Iasi, Cluj-Napoca, Suceava, Brașov, Pitesti, Craiova, and Piatra Neamt
