Starting today, eMag became the largest Apple retailer in Romania, after investing over USD 1 million in the first Apple Shop just launched in Bucharest, in Crangasi showroom.
According to Iulian Stanciu, CEO eMag, the Apple products represent 10 percent of IT retailer sales and, in 2015, eMag’s sales of Apple products increased by 30 percent compared to 2014.
“By opening the Apple Shop in eMag showroom we bring Apple experience to Romanian consumers. The store will be operated by Apple-trained salesmen, who perfectly know the product specifications and are updated of any novelty.
Apple Shop also means official Apple product launches. Here the products will be officially launched, faster and faster,” Stanciu said in a press conference, adding that iPAD mini 4 is going to be already launched .
eMag official also said that Apple’s interest for the domestic market is growing due to the increasing consumption and good local partners. By the end of the month, an Apple Shop Online will operate too within eMag’s online store.
eMag is the largest online shop in the region and eMag’s Apple Shop will sell Apple products: MacBook, iPhone, iPad and accessories. Also, the customers can test the complementary products with US brand’s gadgets in Crangasi showroom from Apple authorized partners: drones, speakers, scales, Beats headphones.
