The Minister of Finance, Marcel Boloș, said in Alba Iulia that the Romanian Government supports the construction of a porcelain cup factory in the city, which will be the largest in Europe and which will produce for IKEA. He visited the IPEC Alba Iulia company, which would build the new factory. It should be noted that IPEC is one of the largest porcelain producers in Romania, G4Media.ro reports.

“We are now in discussions for the biggest project and the biggest European factory, together with IKEA which is also a strategic investment to support the investments that the companies are making. As we are talking about such a project, of such scope and such a partnership, it is our duty to know on the spot the problems faced by investors and more so to have the courage that these state aid schemes, even some customized ones, are for us, a normal step to really support Romania’s economic development”, said Marcel Boloș, Minister of Finance, in front of the IPEC factory.

According to IPEC management, the future factory will be among the most modern in the world.
