Public institutions in Romania to benefit from WB’s assistance services

Romanian Government and the World Bank signed on Monday a Memorandum of Understanding to continue providing technical assistance services to Romanian public institutions by 2023, in the context of continuing structural reforms and increasing public administration efficiency, a press release informs.

Public institutions will be the main beneficiary of such assistance services to be financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) in 2014-2020 period. Since 2010, almost 20 public institutions have benefited from the World Bank’s program in Romania through which it has reached a modern public administration.

Ministry of European Funds will provide strategic direction and coordination of activities within the memorandum.
