Real estate investments in Romania may reach EUR 1.5 bn 2017, Colliers official estimates

The investment volume on real estate market in Romania is estimated for this year to EUR 600-700 million, but the representatives of Colliers International Romania see a doubling of this volume for next year.

“The decrease of investment yields in the region, cumulated with the decrease of funds cost for Romania, as well as the increase of banks’ willingness to finance, all these pieces will be connected so we have all the premises to reach next year the 2008 volume of EUR 1.5 billion,” Robert Miklo, Associate Director Investment Services, Colliers International stated, informs.

To reach an investment volume of EUR 1.5 billion, the office market should be around EUR 500 million, Miklo estimates, but it will also appear retail transactions.
