ARES Centers of Excellence in Cardiology and Radiology Bucharest, along with Monza Hospital, the largest cardiovascular surgery hospital and interventional cardiology in Romania, part of the ‘Policlinico di Monza’ in Italy, has launched the national network of cardiology clinics Ritmico, a press release informs.

Thus, over the next five years, more than EUR 4.5 million will be invested in this boutique-clinics network, focused on the investigation and diagnosis of cardiovascular disease.
By the end of 2023, at least 30 clinics will be set up in small and medium cities, where access to specialized investigations is low. For the current year, there are plans to open clinics in Constanta, Bucharest, Focsani, Buzau, Pitesti. Then it follows Braila, Calarasi and other cities that will be announced along the way. The investment in each clinic is about EUR 120,000-EUR 150,000.
According to Iulian Plescan, the operational manager of the ARES Centers, this is the largest investment in a network of over-specialized clinics on cardiology in Romania.
The boutique-clinic concept represents generally a small space (approximately 2-3 medical offices), with state-of-the-art facilities, where consultations and investigations are carried out at standards of excellence.
At the Ritmico clinics, a full range of heart disease investigations will be available: cardiac ultrasound, transesophageal ultrasound, vascular, arterial and carotid Doppler ultrasound, electrocardiogram, ECG and TA holter monitoring, exercise tests.
