Romania Launches National Platform for Semiconductor Technologies
The National Platform for Semiconductor Technologies – which will be launched today – represents a substantial investment of 130 million euros for the construction of three state-of-the-art production lines in Romania, declared Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu.
“Today we are also launching the National Platform for Semiconductor Technologies. It is a substantial investment, of 130 million euros, for three state-of-the-art production lines, here in Romania. It is a project that brings together research institutes, top universities and innovative SMEs. And we aim to develop this vital economic field, because any digital device is based on semiconductors“, PM Marcel Ciolacu showed, on Thursday, in the government meeting.
